Neonatologist
This is a pediatrician who specializes in the car of prematurely born or sick newborn babies.

Nephrons
The nephrons are part of the kidney. Nephrons remove waste from the blood while recovering useful substances, then eliminate the rest as urine.

Nocturia
Nocturia means having to get out of bed to urinate two or more times during hours of sleep. This can be a symptom of other disorders, and often occurs among the elderly.

Non-Stress Test (NST)
This test uses an electronic fetal monitor to measure the baby’s movement and heart rate. It can be compared to an adult EKG.

Neural Tube Defects
These defects are defined as abnormalities in the neural tube, which consists of the spinal cord and brain.
